EMILY WALKER (28–38) – LEAD A deputy ranger in rural Maine who unexpectedly finds herself at the center of a deadly investigation after a series of brutal attacks terrorize the region. Intelligent, capable, and observant, Emily is accustomed to working in the shadow of her longtime partner, Harold Moose. But when evidence begins to emerge that challenges everything the authorities believe about the case, she is forced into a position of leadership she never expected. As public pressure mounts, politicians become involved, and the body count rises, Emily must navigate the difficult transition from trusted deputy to the person responsible for making life-and-death decisions. Along the way she is forced to confront difficult truths about Moose, the investigation, and herself. Seeking an actor capable of portraying intelligence, strength, compassion, determination, and quiet authority. Emily is the audience's guide through the story and ultimately becomes the person who must face the danger head-on when others cannot. This is a physically demanding role involving outdoor filming, running, hiking, climbing, crawling, falling, being dragged, working in mud, dirt, water, and other challenging environmental conditions. Actor should be comfortable performing physically demanding practical-action sequences. Lead role.
